The third round of the India-China military talks on Tuesday lasted 12 hours, with the focus being on defining the details of disengagement. The talks between the commander of the Leh-based 14 Corps Lieutenant General Harinder Singh and the commander of the South Xinjiang military region, Major General Liu Lin, come even as tensions continue between India and China after the deadly face-off last week that left 20 Indian soldiers dead.

In an unfortunate incident, a wedding ceremony in rural Patna which took place two weeks ago set off the biggest infection chain in Bihar, health department officials reported on Tuesday. The groom was running a high fever, and died two days later, with his body cremated without being tested for COVID-19.

As per media reports, more than 100 people tested COVID=19 positive in the last few days, in the Paliganj sub-division of Patna district, located about 55 km from the state capital.
