The company manages two hotels in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, both operating under the Holiday Inn banner through franchise agreements with InterContinental Hotels. It also runs Mediterranean restaurant Harrigan's Caf� & Wine Deck, located at its downtown Johnstown hotel, and manages the Frank J. Pasquerilla Conference Center in Johnstown. Crown American's portfolio shrank considerably in 2005 when it sold more than 20 hotels in eastern states to an affiliate of real estate firm Archon Group. The company was founded in 1965 by Frank Pasquerilla (father of former CEO Mark Pasquerilla).
