American Payroll Association
The American Payroll Association is the professional society for Payroll Professionals. Founded in 1982 it is run by a professional staff under the direction of the Executive Director, the member President, and Board of Directors.
The American Payroll Association (APA) helps the folks who help the rest of us get paid. The APA supports payroll administration professionals and people in related fields by providing seminars, publications, and certification. It also represents its members' interests in legislative and regulatory matters. The APA boasts more than 23,000 members in more than 140 chapters nationwide. The association operates from offices in Las Vegas, New York, San Antonio, and Washington, DC.
