Appriss, Inc.
Appriss aptly observes offenders. The company's flagship product, Victim Information & Notification Everyday, or VINE, makes information about offenders' custody or court status available to victims of crime, as well as the general public. Appriss also has teamed up with the government solutions unit of AT&T and the US Department of Justice to provide automated notification services to victims of federal crimes. The company was originally founded in 1994 as Infotech. It was later known as The VINE Company and in 2000 was renamed Appriss. Chrysalis Ventures leads investors in the company.
