North Midland Construction provides civil engineering and building contracting services. The company has two major subsidiaries: North Midland Building (formed in 1995), which provides construction services to blue-chip companies, and Nomenca (formed in 1998), a provider of mechanical and electrical contracting services to the water and waste industries. North Midland Construction was established in 1946 as a partnership between William Morris and Major Terence Moyle (whose job it was to lay ducts for the Derbyshire Post Office); today the company operates four locations throughout the UK.
