Batley's operates more than 20 stores from Glasgow in the north to Exeter in the south. Stores offer a variety of items, including frozen foods, fresh produce, snacks, sodas, beer, wine, meat, and fish. Non-food items include household accessories, hardware, and pet supplies. Open only to the trade, customers of Batley's include retailers and caterers. Batley's is owned by Bestway Holdings. In 2010 the firm acquired Martex's three branches and foodservice business from Scotland's CJ Lang.
