Chinatrust Financial Holding (CFHC) is one of Taiwan's largest financial services groups. It operates Chinatrust Commercial Bank, which has more than 140 domestic branches and more than 70 overseas. The group provides general banking services including corporate and consumer loans, financial consulting, checking and savings accounts, letters of credit, commercial drafts, collections and payments, and credit cards. It also offers property/casualty insurance, life insurance, investments, and other related financial services. Overseas, the bank operates subsidiaries in the US, Canada, the Philippines, and Indonesia. The predecessor to the family-owned CFHC was founded in 1966.

Chong Hing Bank (CHB) offers retail and wholesale banking services and products, including deposit accounts, mortgage and automobile loans, corporate banking, and trade financing. The group has units in the US, the UK, Singapore, the Cayman Islands, and China. Chuo Mitsui Trust and Sumitomo Trust & Banking plan to merge, with Chuo Mitsui as the surviving entity. Renamed Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Holdings, the combined company will be Japan's largest asset management group.

CIMB Group (formerly Bumiputra-Commerce Holdings Berhad) is the second-largest financial services firm in Malaysia, behind Malaysian Banking Berhad. It is holding company for CIMB Bank, CIMB Investment Bank, and CIMB Islamic, which provide banking and financial services throughout Southeast Asia. The group has about 1,150 locations in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore, as well as Thailand, where it operates CIMB Bank Niaga. CIMB Group's offerings include corporate and consumer banking, investment banking, Islamic banking, stock brokerage, asset management, and insurance.
