First Federal of Northern Michigan Bancorp is the holding company for First Federal of Northern Michigan, a savings bank serving area residents and businesses from nearly 10 locations in the northern part of the state's Lower Peninsula. Deposit services include checking, savings, and money market accounts, CDs, and IRAs. The bank's lending activities mainly consist of residential mortgages (nearly half of its loan portfolio), commercial mortgages, business loans, and home equity loans.
