Walter Reed Health Care System
Walter Reed Health Care System serves those who serve. While its primary facility is the 250-bed Walter Reed Army Medical Center, the entire system includes nearly a dozen military health care hospitals and clinics in the Washington, DC, area. It also includes Army medical training and clinical research facilities. Walter Reed provides care to soldiers stationed in the US and wounded overseas, as well as to presidents, senators, and other officials in the nation's capital. Other facilities of Walter Reed Health Care include the Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center at nearby Fort Meade (Maryland), DeWitt Hospital at Fort Belvoir (Virginia), and the DiLorenzo TRICARE Clinic at The Pentagon.
