St. Joseph Hospital of Orange serves Orange County and surrounding area residents, providing general medical and surgical services, as well as specialty care in a number of areas. Its range of clinical services includes women's health care, mental health services, oncology, cardiology, and physical rehabilitation. Part of the St. Joseph Health System, the hospital provides primary care and specialty outpatient services through a network of affiliated physician practices. It also operates low-income and mobile clinics. Founded in 1929 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange, the hospital has about 525 beds and a medical staff of some 1,000.
