Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital

Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital provides health care services to residents of southwestern Georgia. Founded in 1911, the 440-bed acute-care hospital provides emergency and inpatient services, as well as cardiology, oncology, psychiatric, women's health, and pediatric specialty care. It is part of the Phoebe Putney Health System, which also includes the 25-bed Phoebe Worth Medical Center and several satellite community health centers that provide outpatient primary health, laboratory, and surgical services. The health system is governed by the Albany-Dougherty County Hospital Authority.
