Good Samaritan Hospital
Good Samaritan Hospital opened its doors in 1965 as an acute care hospital with a staff of about 400. Good Samaritan Hospital helps keep Silicon Valley's techies in tip-top shape. The facility, part of the HCA family of for-profit hospitals, administers care through campuses in San Jose (the main campus) and Los Gatos, California. Good Samaritan Hospital provides general acute care as well as a host of tertiary services that include cardiology and cardiovascular surgery; oncology; obstetrics and gynecology; and psychiatry (both inpatient and outpatient care). The main campus hospital has some 400 patient beds and the Los Gatos outpatient and short-stay facility houses approximately 100 beds.
