The first issue of Parade was published in 1941 and the first papers to distribute it were The Nashville Tennessean and The Washington Post. The Post is the magazine's oldest continuous subscriber. Other newspapers distributing Parade include the Boston Globe, The Miami Herald, and the Los Angeles Times. Publishing giant Advance Publications owns Parade Publications company. Every week more than 32 million homes see a Parade. Parade Publications publishes "Parade", a newsmagazine insert carried in the Sunday edition of nearly 450 newspapers across the US.
