Farrar, Straus and Giroux (FSG) has a knack for publishing prize winners. FSG has published Pulitzer prize winners Doug Wright (I Am My Own Wife), Jeffrey Eugenides (Middlesex), and Paul Muldoon (Moy Sand and Gravel). In addition, the firm boasts more than 20 Nobel Prize recipients and more than 20 National Book Award winners. FSG also publishes audio books, and operates imprints Drawn and Quarterly (art and literary comics), Hill and Wang (non-fiction titles), Enchanted Lion (books for children and young adults), and Faber and Faber (arts and culture-related publications). FSG was founded in 1946 by Roger W. Straus. (Straus died in 2004 at age 87.) The firm is a subsidiary of Holtzbrinck Publishing Holdings.
