Terex ASV

Terex ASV company uses rubber track suspension systems that make its vehicles operable in sand, mud, swamps, snow, slippery slopes, and rough terrain. Its Posi-Track (PT) Series and ST-50 Tracked Utility Vehicle, unveiled in 2008, are used for excavation and brush cutting, agriculture, fire fighting, snow clearance, and construction. Remote-controlled PTs are used in military applications to clear unexploded ordnance. Early in 2008 the company was acquired by mining equipment manufacturer Terex in a deal valued at about $488 million.
