Anova Books Group Limited
Anova Books was founded in November 2005 and is wholly-owned by its senior management. It is a new, independent publishing company, but ‘new’ with a heritage. That heritage consists of a great team of experienced publishing professionals and several established publishing imprints - Batsford, Collins & Brown, Conway, Pavilion, Robson and Salamander – which complement newer publishing ventures such as Portico and National Trust Books. We are based near Olympia in London, at the site of the former West London Magistrate’s Court. This beautiful Queen Anne building was renovated, modernised and extended in 2006 and the redeveloped site won a RIBA London award in 2007. Whilst thoroughly modern and energy-efficient, it retains an imposing entrance hall, the original oak-panelled courtroom and six prison cells, truly reflecting our ‘new, with heritage’ values.
We publish books by well-known authors such as Sarah Beeny, Oz Clarke, Humphrey Lyttelton and Jack Vettriano, as well as a range of upcoming and specialist authors who are experts in their respective fields. We also work with a range of prestigious corporate partners, such as National Trust Books, The National Magazine Company (Good Housekeeping, Zest and Cosmopolitan), and Agent Provocateur. You can find our books in both independent and multiple-outlet UK bookshops, select gift stores and also in UK supermarkets and in addition we have international partnerships to market our books globally. We also sell international rights to our publications and many of our titles are available in various languages around the world. Now, for the first time, we are proud to offer our books for sale direct to our customers though this website. In doing so, we are determined to provide first-rate and personal support, and at all times respect the privacy of our customers. We have worked hard to make the site as easy-to-use as possible and we welcome any and all feedback from our customers.
