It specializes in equipment installation (about 45% of sales), as well as maintenance (35%) and modernization (20%) services for buildings, whether office, hotel, residential, airport, or public transportation terminal. Projects have included Naberezhnaya Tower, Moscow; Swissetel, Chicago; Capital Airport, Beijing; and the New York subway, New York. The European, Middle East, and African region represents more than 60% of KONE's sales.

Kortec Company designs and manufactures industrial injection mold equipment used to make a diversity of air-tight plastic bottles. Its proprietary co-injection technology produces high-barrier, multilayer packaging for juice to beer, as well as for chemicals, prescriptions, and even re-sealable plastic cans for paint.
