Crane Composites, Inc.

Crane Composites is a real heavyweight when it comes to lightweight fiberglass. Founded in 1954, the company became a subsidiary of Crane Co.'s engineered materials segment in 1985. It manufactures fiberglass-reinforced plastics (FRP) for applications including containers, building products like wall and ceiling tiles, and for sidewalls and roofs of truck trailers and recreational vehicles. Crane Composites sells directly to truck trailer and recreational vehicle (RV) manufacturers, but uses distributors for its construction markets. Crane Composites, Inc company changed its name from Kemlite in 2006. In addition to the US, Crane Composites, Inc company also has facilities in Canada, China, the Netherlands, and the UK.
