Calgary Flames Limited Partnership
Calgary Flames Limited Partnership owns and operates the Calgary Flames professional hockey franchise, which joined the National Hockey League in 1972 as the Atlanta Flames. Since relocating to Alberta, Canada, the team has earned three trips to the Stanley Cup Finals (its last in 2004) and won its only championship title in 1989. Calgary plays host at Pengrowth Saddledome. Chairman N. Murray Edwards leads an ownership group that includes oil and gas executive Harley Hotchkiss and Canadian Natural Resources chairman Allan Markin.
