Young's Seafood Limited

Young's Seafood Limited was founded in 1805 and was formerly known as Young's Bluecrest Seafood. Lion Capital bought the company from CapVest in 2008. Young's Seafood company processes and distributes value-added fresh and frozen seafood products to supermarkets and foodservice groups throughout the UK. It sources some 60 different fin- and shellfish species from 30 countries around the world and turns them into frozen breaded fillets, fingers, pies, and steaks. Young's subsidiary, Polarfrost Seafoods, specializes in acquiring frozen cod, haddock, and saithe from factory trawlers and working in the the North Atlantic.
