Snyder's of Hanover, Inc.

Snyder's of Hanover company is the largest pretzel maker in the US (surpassing even snack-making behemoth Frito-Lay). Along with pretzels of all shapes and sizes, family-owned Snyder's produces potato chips, tortilla chips, and the EatSmart brand of low-fat snack foods (soy crisps, veggie crisps, and organic popcorn). Taking advantage of US consumers' new-found love of dark chocolate, snyder company introduced Hershey's dark-chocolate-flavored Dips. Snyder's snacks are sold through supermarkets, drugstores, and mass merchandisers throughout the US. Snyder's and longtime snack food maker Lance plan to merge their operations.
