Inlet Resources hopes to find copper at the end of the rainbow. The company is active in copper and nickel mining development in Canada. Inlet Resources owns mineral properties including a nickel and copper project in Quebec and a zinc property in British Columbia. The company, which is exploring its properties for mineral deposits, also believes platinum group metals are in the area. Inlet Resources abandoned its Red Lake gold project in Ontario during 2006 when it determined that the property would never yield sufficient returns.

The company manufactures about 800,000 tons of copper products annually and contains more than 10 million tons of proved and probable reserves in its mines, which include the Dexing and Yongping pits and the Wushan underground mine. It owns a copper smelter and refinery, and its majority-owned Jiangxi Copper Products subsidiary manufactures copper rods and wires. Other operations include gold and silver production. Jiangxi Copper Company Limited was formed by parent Jiangxi Copper Corporation, which is owned by the Chinese government, in 1997. Jiangxi Copper Corporation owns 48% of Jiangxi Copper Company Limited.
