Before long, retailers began asking for pre-cut cheeses wrapped in smaller sizes and more cheese varieties to better satisfy their customers…and the Great Lakes Cheese tradition was born. Since then, Great Lakes has grown rapidly by acquisition, plant expansions, investment in the best technologies for production and distribution – and by setting industry standards in high service levels. Currently, Great Lakes serves the nation’s retailers and food service operations with seven strategic facilities across the U.S. It is a proud tradition of award-winning quality and the customer satisfaction we earn every day.
