Shelton's Poultry teaches its chickens to "Just Say No!" The company raises its poultry under strict house rules: no drugs, no enhancers, no artificial ingredients. The firm produces and markets more than 50 fresh and processed chicken, turkey, and duck products under the Shelton's brand through natural food stores and conventional grocery retailers. Its processed products include frozen pot pies, meat snacks, turkey franks and burgers, and canned soups and broths. Shelton's is owned by the Flanagan family, which oversees its operations. The company was founded in 1924 by the Shelton family and was purchased by the Flanagans in 1969.
