Boar's Head Provisions is more of a ham than a bore. Under the Boar's Head brand name, the company manufactures and distributes specialty deli meats, cheeses, and soups to restaurants, grocers, and delicatessens throughout the US. Its products are distributed in distinctive black and red refrigerated trucks owned by its sister company, Frank Brunckhorst Company. Boar's Head has operations in Arkansas, Florida, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia. The company was founded in 1905 by Frank Brunckhorst, who delivered his foods by horse-drawn wagon to small delicatessens and mom-and-pop stores in New York City. It is still owned and operated by his descendants.
