Workers Compensation Research Institute
The Workers Compensation Research Institute (WCRI) provides independent research on the performance of workers' comp systems. So Workers Compensation Research Institute can focus on unbiased studies and information gathering, the not-for-profit organization doesn't take positions on public policy issues. Among the topics on which WCRI conducts research are the performance of different workers' comp systems, system costs, and effects of regulatory changes. Members of WCRI, who support the institute's work and receive its reports, include insurers, government entities, and large employers. WCRI was founded in 1983.
