Airfreight that goes up must come down, and that's where cargo handler Menzies Aviation comes in. Formerly Aeroground, Menzies Aviation provides ground handling of airfreight for freight forwarders, international airlines, and transportation brokers. Its cargo handling services include breaking down bulk shipments, warehousing, interline trucking, and courier and mail services. The company serves more than 500 aviation clients at about 100 terminals in almost 25 countries. In 2006, the cargo handling unit of UK-based newspaper publisher John Menzies acquired Aeroground and changed its name to Menzies Aviation in early 2007.
