The firm was acquired by CBIZ at the end of 2008.

Maid Brigade provides residential cleaning services through nearly 400 franchise locations in the US and Canada. The company offers one-time and recurring housecleaning services, including oven, bath tub, floor, and window cleaning. Maid Brigade is "green clean" certified -- which means it exclusively uses health and environmentally friendly cleaning products. President Coralee Smith Kern founded the company in 1971.

Maid to Perfection is there for your home or office when things need be straightened, tidied, or spruced. The company is a cleaning service franchisor with about 300 franchise units in 26 US states and Canada. The franchises offer cleaning services -- everything from carpet cleaning, hardwood floor polishing and waxing, to sink cleaning, vacuuming, and window cleaning -- to both residential and commercial customers. Maid to Perfection was incorporated in 1983, originally under the name Midy Tidy. It changed its name and began selling franchises in 1990.

While living in Beacon Hill, Mark Kushinsky, one of MaidPro's founders, called a maid service to have his home cleaned. Although he was shocked by how high the prices were, he was looking forward to regaining valuable time. On the day of the cleaning, Mark arrived home eager to see the work that had been done. There was no way Mark would allow this company in his home again.
