Zero Defects filed for Chapter 11 protection from creditors in 2003 and its assets were sold to a partnership named Zero Defects International. The original company's bankruptcy case became a Chapter 7 liquidation, with the case being closed in 2005. Zero Defects International has facilities in California and Oregon.
