Smt. Anindita Mukherjee is a music lover since her childhood and had participated in many international and national competitions and to pour the knowledge of music to others she has started a music institution as Sangeet Sadhana since 2009.

Saraswati Music College was established in 1924.The institution was being run by Saraswati Music College society (Regd.), which is now known as Saraswati Foundation for Education, Art and Culture and is a non-profit-earning body.
