Karnavati Chemicals was formed by five enterprising industrialists in the year 1993 with a purpose to manufacture Monochloro acetic acid in order to serve the Agrochemical and Bulk Drug industry in India.

The company started modestly as a Semi Synthetic Penicillin (SSP) player and expanded to becomes the largest SSP Player in India with an annual SSP facility of over 1200 tones per annum. Subsequently the SSP business was hived off into a separate Company in a joint venture with Synpac Pharmaceuticals Ltd, UK.

Shree Kishore Group of Companies launched Kumar Industries in Dec.1995 as Pharma Bulk Drug Manufacturing Company with an aim of developing different grades of Glycine. In a short span the company has marked its presence in the highly competitive Pharma Bulk Drug Manufacturing Industry with its high Quality product and prompt service.

The plant is designed for multipurpose product manufacturing under stringent quality control measures and cGMP guidelines and manufactures several products including METFORMIN HCL
