NLPL operates from their fully owned offices including ownership of their office infrastructure at 14 locations across India with strength of 180 dedicated staffs. It is an asset backed company wherein it operates from its own warehouses at strategic logistics hubs and deploys company owned transportation and material handling fleet including low bed trailors and cranes. To provide accurate focus, the company has split its operations in the following divisions:Oil & Gas Logistics Division: Manages the logistics and supply chain requirement for operators as well as their contractors including rig owners. Activities cover air and sea freight forwarding including air/sea charters, import and export clearances, statutory clearances and liaisoning with various ministries, transportation, shore base management, port and vessel agency, equipment and manpower supply.Freight Forwarding Division: Offers customized air/sea/land and multimodal transportation solutions based on individual customer requirements. It has a wide international network of partnership agents spread across 80 countries and 150 locations.Customs House Agency (CHA) Division: Offers documentation, carting/ receiving goods, examination of shipments, port handling, registration of the contract with customs for the project clearance and stuffing and de-stuffing of containers at ports, ICD’s and customers warehouse.Steamer Agency Division: Offers agency and husbandry services to the merchant and offshore vessels at various ports. It undertakes vessel handling at major oil field supply bases, ports and ensures quick turnaround of vessels in cordial, close and constant liaison with port, customs and other authorities. The division specializes in liaisoning with the DG Shipping, MMD, IRS, etc. for various statutory compliances including processing of towing permissions and conducting surveys and inspections.Asset Backed Advantage: NLPL owns, operates and rents plant & machinery in which it offers point to point expert handling of over dimensional and heavy industrial equipments over land and sea. NLPL’s warehousing activities include modern & well-equipped warehouses, cargo tracking system, storage facilities, adequate insured private warehousing space and pick & pack services. NLPL owns and leases open storage yards and closed warehouses at ports namely Kakinada in AP, Chennai and Karaikal in TN and in Uran near JNPT, Mumbai. NLPL’s fleet of P&M includes 20’ and 40’ trailors and material handling equipment which includes forklifts and cranes from 10MT to 180 MT.
