In 1996, with the liberalization of the Indian economy they introduced Toshiba AC Variable Frequency Drives in Indian market with an authorized service center established at Hyderabad. In 1998, they branch into elevator industry introducing Toshiba drives in the elevator industry. In year 2000, Jeltron systems have become the first indigenous manufacturer of Automatic rescue devices for elevator industry. Along with Automatic rescue devices they also started to manufacture elevator controllers as well as marketing of other devices to elevator industry. In year 2001, they upgraded their Analog soft starters and SCR Power Controllers to digital micro controller based Soft Starters and SCR Power Controllers. Jeltron has supported more than 900 customers in India. Their digital Soft Starters are used by major industries in cement, Paper, Power, Textile and other industries. Their Analog as well as digital SCR Power Controllers is used by furnace manufacturers like Hind High vacuum, Hightemp etc. Their Automatic Rescue devices are used by all major elevator manufacturers in India like Bharat Bijlee, Supriya, Esso, Etc.
