The Company has acquired its own iron ore mines, and power, the other key input, is supplied by an associate company, Chhattisgarh Electricity Company Limited (CECL). RASL is the flagship of the Rs 400 Crore RASL Group. CECL, the second major company in the group, is one of the leading manufacturer and exporter of ferro-manganese and silico-manganese besides power generation in India.

Products:
1. Sponge Iron:
2,10,000 MT TPA The direct reduced sponge iron plant has three kilns, 2 kilns of 100 TPD and 1 kilin of 500 TPD. The fully automated plant is operating at more than its rated capacity. The plant is operated with an efficient, state-of-the-art digital control system. A part of the sponge iron is used to make steel, the surplus is sold to other steel producers., Steel Ingots, and TMT Bars.

2. Steel Ingots: 1,00,000 TPA
The Company's steel making facility consists of coreless induction furnaces. It has been making steel using sponge iron as feedstock and has been operating at more than 100% of its rated capacity. The steel produced is cast into ingots. The company has got arrangement to produce High Quality TMT bars with own brand name , Hytech TMT.

3. Waste Heat Recovery:
The sponge iron kilns produce waste heat gases. The gases are converted into steam by the waste heat recovery boilers, 9x2 tonnes, which in turn is utilised by CECL, an associate company, to produce power.
