The faculty team of the department is an eclectic assemblage of subject experts who have gathered, in addition to substantial experience in classroom teaching, considerable accolades in areas outside the classroom and, indeed, away from the campus.

The MBA program is unique in structure as it is carefully tailored to create a new generation of business leaders equipped with top rung technical expertise and intellectual resources. Our students are also rigorously groomed to imbibe a deep sense of professional integrity and socio-cultural awareness and responsibility.

The department is located within and adequately backed by Dr. B.C. Roy Engineering College, popularly abbreviated BCREC, born on 21st August, 2000, of the vision of a group of renowned philanthropic entrepreneurs in the steel city, Durgapur. BCREC and dedicated to the memory of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, the legendary architect of post-independence Bengal. In the two decades since inception, BCREC has blossomed into a conglomerate of four well endowed and well managed technological education colleges with faculty pools comparable with some of the best institutions in related disciplines and with alumni who have already reached positions of eminence in industry and academia, in India and abroad, by dint of their merit, college education and diligence. The BCREC Society remains steadfast in its pursuit of the cause of value based, multidisciplinary, value for money education that continuously evolves in keeping with changing technology and management paradigms.
