MET won the first prize in an all-India case study competition titled ACUMEN 2006 pitted against IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Kozikode, amongst other leading management institutes ample proof of the quality of students of the institute. The institute's placement performance compares with the best and is consistent. The salary package has been growing, with some students fetching as much as Rs10 lakh (CTC) last year. The focus is on ensuring that the students get placed in companies, where they fit in intellectually and culturally. The campus has adequate infrastructure, including a Wi-Fi facility, air-conditioned classrooms, e-enabled libraries that dock over 20,000 books and 300 periodicals, fully loaded information and technology centres and conference rooms (equipped with audio-visual facilities and learning aids to create a quasi-corporate ambience).
