Both 35mm and 70mm have Dolby digital sound tracks. I remember, till today, my pleasant experiences watching Awwal Number and Maine Pyar Kiya respectively. The theaters are quite spacious, but they have a crammed parking space. Mostly Hindi and occasionally English movies get released in both the halls. All the hit films find at least two weeks’ screening here, and that can compensate for the losses — I doubt if they have any!
The theaters were owned by none other than NTR. During the riots following Rajiv Gandhi’s assanination, the 70mm auditorium was burnt. Nevertheles, it survived – unlike Tarakrama.
The interiors are well maintained and the seating arrangement is comfortable. |

From a particular position, in the balcony, some 10% of the view is blocked by a pillar. Then when the lights are turned on, you have 60 watts bulbs stinging your eyes.

Quite close to a number of colleges in the area, the place attracts a lot of students. It is equipped with a DTS sound system.
