These are available in mobile and fixed models. Slit the bags manually and empty contents into the hopper, and this feeder will transfer material to the silo. If the raw material comes in bags, then the automatic bag splitter is a desirable alternative for high capacities and to reduce labor requirements. Advantages: no powder loss-clean working environment; bag handling is reduced, material from truck can directly be fed to the silo; mechanical simplicity ensures easy installation with all material feeding systems; and easy servicing, low cost. The bag splitter can be fed manually or from a conveyor belt; inside the hopper; bags are first split, and then transferred to the rotary screen where they remai9n for a time depending on the type of materials involved. The bags, now free from contents, are removed from the machine by adjustable blades; the material contained in the bags falls through the screen into a collector. From here it can be fed to silo by pneumatic conveyor of various capacities or material can be transferred to silos using vertical feed screws or bucket lifts depending on application, location, material and customer preference.
