Apex Precision Mechatronix offers self-lubricating bearings, called Feroform T814, Ferolube and Fiberglide. Manufactured by Tenmat Ltd, UK, they are used for hydro-mechanical equipments. Feroform T814 is a pure composite, self-lubricating bearing incorporating PTEE (Teflon) particles throughout the matrix of the material. It is maintenance-free fit-&-forget bearing. These bearings have co-efficient of friction that ranges from 0.04 to 0.10, depending on the conditions. Feroform T814 bearings have advantages not only of abrasion and corrosion resistance, load carrying capabilities, easy handling and installation, but more importantly is price competitive.

Ferolube bearings are plugged bronze bearings with lubricating inserts. These bearings have same coefficient of friction in all conditions. These bearings are used in radial gates, fixed wheel gates, wicket gates, and regulating apparatus applications in water turbines. Fiberglide PTFE fabric lined bronze bearings were originally used as pioneer greaseless product for water turbines.
