He is a consultant to a number of industries in Bangalore and also to IREDA(Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency), E.T.I.(Environment Training Institute, a joint venture between Danida and Karnataka Pollution Board), KREDL ( Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Ltd.)etc.

The main cause of reduction in life of all types of lead acid batteries (automotive, deep discharge tubular types used in UPS and solar application, SMF, etc) is the phenomenon of sulphation. Due to slow deposition of sulphates on the lead plates, insulation becomes so dense that the chemical reaction between acid and lead becomes less and less.

ProPulse is a product developed in Norway and manufactured in India by Glittnberg Envirotech Pvt Ltd. When connected between the two terminals of battery, the ProPulse generates 15,000 pulses/sec. These pulses attack and activate the sulphate molecules that adhere to the lead plates. This prevents formation of crystals and forming permanent layers on the plates. The pulses are so effective that they can to certain extent dissolve already crystallized sulphate in old batteries.
