Lok Housing & Constructions Limited formerly known as Navdeep Construction Co. Ltd. was incorporated in 1985. The main objects of the company is housing development activities. The promoters of Lok Housing & Construction Co. Ltd. are Lalith Gandhi, O.P. Monga, and Ms. Naina Shah. Lok Global & National Construction Ltd. and Shangri-La Golf And Health Resorts Pvt. Ltd. are subsidiaries of the company.

With a view to render financial assistance to buyers of flats `Lok Housing Finance Corporation Ltd.` was formed by the Company. The Company had also signed an MOU with Marriott International Inc. USA, for setting up three hotel/resort projects in Jaipur, Cochin and Goa. The Company promoted `Lok Global and National Construction Ltd.` to participate in large hi-tech engineering and infrastructural development projects like roads, highways, railway with electrification, traction and signalling work, canal, road over bridges, tunnels, seaports, airports not only in domestic but also overseas.

The company inspired by the success of new residential projects viz. Lok Kedar, Lok Nisarg, Lok Amber, the company has recently launched other new projects viz. Lok Malhar, Lok Prabhat and extension of Lok Everest. The construction progress in these projects is satisfactory. The associate company of Lok Housing & Constructions Limited viz., Lok Global & National Construction Ltd. has in the fiscal 2001-02 completed the contracts for constructing Railway Quarters, two bridges at Thane, and residential building at Mulund.

Future Plans: The company is making all out efforts to commence a multicrore project, which has the potential to change the entire scenario of debts of the company. Other various feasible schemes are also being worked out for settlement of debts of various nature.
