ONGC takes part in Kuwait Oil & Gas Show 2015 for the first time
DUBAI: With Kuwait showing keen interest in India's oil and gas sector, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has for the first time taken part in the Kuwait Oil and Gas Show (KOGS) 2015.
Minister of Oil Dr Ali Saleh Al-Omair, who inaugurated the ONGCBSE 1.45 % pavilion on October 12, showed keen interest in India's oil and gas sector, Indian embassy in Kuwait said.
ONGC, which was founded in 1956, has entered into its diamond Jubilee year. The company accounts for 69 per cent of CRUDE OIL and 70 per cent of natural gas production in India.
Kuwait Oil and Gas Show (KOGS) 2015 was held in Kuwait this week from October 12-14.
ONGC Videsh Limited, a subsidiary of ONGC, has activities in 36 projects spread across 17 countries.
ONGC's participation at the event is to showcase its capabilities in the oil and gas sector. The company committed to realise the Prime Minister's vision to reduce India's energy imports by 10 per cent by 2022.
