Following the untimely demise of actor Sidharth Shukla (40), social media was on Thursday flooded with condolence messages shared by the 'Bigg Boss 13' winner's friends, co-stars and members of the film and TV fraternity. Sidharth Shukla's death left everyone in a state of grief and shock. As per several reports, Sidharth died of a heart attack.

As per a report in the Times of India, Sidharth Shukla complained of chest pain and expressed uneasiness to his mother at around 3 am on Thursday.

A source was quoted telling the publication, "At around 3 am Sidharth got up and was feeling very uneasy. He informed his mother about the uneasiness and chest pain. His mother gave him some water and he went back to sleep. However, in the morning Sidharth did not get up. His mother tried to wake him up, but he did not respond. His mother called his sister, who called the doctor, who declared him dead and asked them to take the body to the hospital immediately."

At around 9:25 am, Sidharth Shukla was brought dead to Mumbai's Cooper Hospital, one of the hospital officials had confirmed to news agency ANI.

"His body was examined thrice externally at casualty ward. No external injury and no foul play were found. At 3.45 pm the post-mortem started. The post-mortem will be videographed and two policemen will be present as witnesses," the source told the Times of India.

The actor last appeared on reality shows 'Bigg Boss OTT' and 'Dance Deewane 3' with Shehnaaz Gill. The late star rose to fame with the hit TV shows 'Balika Vadhu' and 'Dil Se Dil Tak'. He also shared screen space with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in the 2014 hit film 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania'. The actor was also seen alongside Diljit Dosanjh in the 2018 movie 'Soorma'. He recently tasted success with his stint on the reality show 'Bigg Boss 13', where he emerged as the winner. The actor's last screen outing was Ekta Kapoor's insanely popular show 'Broken But Beautiful 3' in which he played the role of Agastya.
