Twitter users face a "forced log out"

If you tried to log into Twitter either via your mobile or a desktop, you would have likely received this message Some users are currently having trouble signing in to twitter...Our engineers are currently working to resolve this.
Users initially faced log in issues on their Android phones, while iOS users could use the service. Furthermore, the computer application, TweetDeck, was displaying tweets which were a year old.
The outage, according to a FirstPost report, has been attributed to Twitter servers which assumed the date was December 2015. The report also confirms that the outage was an internal Twitter error and not the work of North Korean or other hackers.
Services have now resumed on the micro blogging website on all platforms. The company has not said issued any statement about the outage.

Indian metals-to-oil conglomerate Vedanta reported 92.3% jump in quarterly profit on Wednesday, helped by strong base metal prices that boosted margins.
Prices of base metals spiked during the quarter ended in March due to supply disruption linked to the Iran war. Vedanta's aluminium business is the biggest in India and contributes to nearly 40% of the company's revenue.
