Militants attack Army camp in Jammu, 2 injured

Militants carried out a fidayeen (suicide) attack on an Army camp in Jammu's Sujwan area on Saturday morning.
Initial reports suggest two people, an army jawan and a civilian, were injured in the indiscriminate fire opened by the militants at around 4:30 a.m. in Sujwan is less than 10 km from Jammu city.
Preliminary reports suggest two to three militants were involved in the attack.
An official said the attackers managed to enter into a camp of Army’s 36 Brigade. The area has been sealed. Reinforcements have been rushed to the encounter site.
The attack comes just a day after the fifth death anniversary of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru, who was hanged in the Delhi's Tihar Jail.
