On the occasion of Army Day 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday greeted soldiers and hailed the Indian Army, saying it is strong, brave and resolute.

Taking to microblogging website Twitter, Modi said that soldiers have made India proud as he wished them.

The third phase of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY 3.0) will be launched on Friday in 600 districts across India. Spearheaded by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), this phase will focus on new-age and COVID-related skills.

In a tragic incident, Union Minister Shripad Naik was critically injured in a car accident, while his wife Vijaya Naik and personal secretary died in the hospital on Monday (January 11) evening.
