Social media gainst Twitter is the only social media platform that has not adhered to the new IT rules brought in by the Indian government and it will lose its status as an intermediary platform, news agency ANI reported.

ANI quoted a government source as saying, Twitter no longer an intermediary platform in India as it didn’t comply with new IT rules.

The winning team of the World Test Championship (WTC) final between India and New Zealand will receive USD 1.6 million (Rs.12 crore approximately) along with an ICC Test Championship Mace. The losing team will receive USD 800,000 (Rs.6 crore approximately), the ICC announced on Monday.

It is about five months since the start of vaccination in India. Everyone is looking towards the government, doctors and scientists if they are safe or they need booster dose to make themselves safe.

Andhra Pradesh has so far reported 2,303 cases of black fungus or mucormycosis, while 157 people have died due to the disease, said the State Medical and Health Principal Secretary Anil Kumar Singhal on Monday.

Addressing the media here, Singhal said, As many as 2,303 black fungus cases have been reported to date in Andhra, out of which 1,328 cases are active cases. So far 157 have died of black fungus. Amphotericin injection and Posaconazole tablets are adequately available all over the state.

Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions on Monday directed all officers at the level of Under Secretary and above to attend offices on all working days from June 16 until June 30 while persons with disabilities and pregnant women employees would continue to work from home.

As regards government officials of the level below Under Secretaries, 50 per cent of such officials shall attend office on all working days and the remaining shall work from home, said the order issued to all central government ministries/departments, a notification issued by the Department of Personnel and Traning mandated.
