The Supreme Court (SC) on Wednesday lifted the stay on arbitral proceedings before Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) between Future Group and Amazon. The Bench also said that Future Retail’s plea for termination of proceedings before SIAC will also be heard on priority.

The SC said in its order that the interim application will be transmitted to the Delhi High Court as agreed by both parties and as proceedings have already begun there.

Zee Entertainment shares slipped 3.4 per cent to a low of Rs 281.10 in the intra-day trades on the NSE on Thursday amid heavy volume. Till 9:30 AM, 124.5 million shares had changed hands on the NSE and BSE.

Fintech major Paytm is likely to be operating EBITDA breakeven in the next six quarters, the company’s founder and CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma said in a letter to shareholders on Wednesday.

“We should be operating EBITDA breakeven in next six quarters (i.e. EBITDA before ESOP cost, and by the quarter ending September 2023), well ahead of estimates by most analysts. Importantly, we are going to achieve this without compromising any of our growth plans,” Sharma wrote.

CNG price in Delhi was hiked by Rs 2.50 to stand at Rs 66.61 per kg, keeping with state-owned companies hiking fuel cost to offset the economic impact of the Ukraine war.

Shares of Tata Power hit a fresh record high of Rs 287.90, up 5 per cent on the BSE in Wednesday’s intra-day trade in an otherwise weak on the back of heavy volume on improved business outlook. In comparison, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 0.7 per cent at 59,742.

The stock of Tata Group electric utilities company has rallied 21 per cent in the past four trading days. On Tuesday, it surpassed its previous high of Rs 269.70 touched on October 19, 2021.
