Google announces an end to Stadia game streaming service in January 2023

American tech giant Google has announced that it will be ending its game streaming service Stadia. It will be finally shut down on January 18, 2023.

According to GSM Arena, the company will be refunding all hardware and software purchases to users. All the people who bought the Stadia controller will get a refund. Also, for any game and add-on content purchased through the Stadia store. The refunds are expected to be completed by mid-January 2023.

Adani Enterprises (AEL), which will build part of the Meerut-Prayagraj Ganga Expressway, has secured finances for the project nine months after winning the contract, it said on Thursday.

The company has secured debt worth Rs 10,238 crore and will make a capital infusion of Rs 6,826 crore. The company was the lowest bidder for the 464-km stretch of the expressway, quoting Rs 5,996 crore in viable gap funding (VGF) for the work. Altogether, the project will be built for Rs 23,060 crore.

Shares of Torrent Pharmaceuticals dipped 6 per cent to Rs 1,449 on the BSE in Wednesday's intra-day trade after the drug company, on Tuesday, signed a definitive agreement to acquire cosmetic dermatology player Curatio Healthcare for Rs 2,000 crore. The consideration includes Rs 115 crore of cash and cash equivalents in the acquired business, indicating an Enterprise Value of Rs 1,885 crore.

Curatio has operations in India, Nepal, Srilanka, and Philippines. The deal catapults Torrent from the 21st spot in the domestic dermatology market to the tenth spot.
