HCL Technologies gains 3% in a weak market post stellar Q4 results

Shares of HCL Technologies were up 3 per cent to Rs 1,135 on the BSE in Friday’s intra-day trade in an otherwise weak market. The rally comes after the IT major delivered revenue growth of 1.1 per cent quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) in constant currency terms in March quarter (Q4FY22), with a strong growth in services, which was up 5 per cent QoQ in CC terms. Meanwhile, earnings before interest and tax margin (EBITM) declined by 110 basis points to 17.9 per cent.

The stock of the Tata Group and a subsidiary of Tata Chemicals had posted a profit after tax of Rs 8 crore in a year ago quarter.

The company has Rs 300 crore of free cash and was established by a group of marine technocrats with P Jairaj Kumar as the chairman and MD, in 1995. Kumar will continue as the chairman of the OSL board.

More than 5.87 lakh farmers have been mobilised under the 'Formation & Promotion of 10,000 Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs)' scheme launched in February 2020 with equity contribution by farmer members amounting to Rs 36.82 crore, the Centre announced on Thursday.

Stating that the FPOs have started business transactions, the government said, As many as 84 FPOs of 14 Cluster Based Business Organisations (CBBOs) have made transactions worth Rs 928.28 lakh and 12 FPOs of three CBBOs of NAFED have made transactions worth Rs 48.35 lakh.
